According to the New York times on June 25, US chipmakers like Intel and Micron are still shipping goods to Huawei in spite of President Donald Trump’s "entity list." Labelled deliberately, goods can still get around ban and be transported to Huawei. Products made overseas by American companies don’t have to be regarded as “American-made”.

Trump blacklisted Huawei based on national security concerns and
its close relation with the Chinese government, although Huawei never accepted such kind of charge.

Sanjay Mehrotra, Chief Executive of Micron Technology Inc, declared on June 25 that they “could lawfully resume shipping a subset of current products” to Huawei, but was still worried about the unpredictable volumes or time periods of the products.

As Micron's number one customer, Huawei ordered as much as $200m from Micron during the third quarter. Although Huawei lost $30bn (£24bn) in revenue this year owing to the ban, it still has a year of stockpiled components to sell, according to some analysts.
