Carlo Acutis, a teenager from Italy, is referred to as "God's Influencer." He was canonized to become the first millennial Catholic saint on September 7 at a Vatican ceremony presided over by Pope Leo XIV.

Although Acutis was born in London, his family returned to Milan when he was a small child. At the age of 15, the youngster passed away from acute promyelocytic leukemia in Milan in 2006. The canonization in St. Peter's Square on September 7 has drawn tens of thousands of worshippers.

Carlo Acutis promoted Catholicism by using his expertise in computers. He had been creating a website where he recorded accounts of miracles. He is regarded as a pioneer in the church's online evangelizing efforts.
