The Mid-Autumn Festival is observed in China and many other countries around the world. Particularly, the Mid-Autumn Festival is observed under the same moon in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Malaysia. People participated in a range of traditional folk cultural events on October 6 to celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.

This Chinese tradition, characterized by mooncakes and family gatherings, emphasizes universal sentiments. Voices from several countries celebrate the festival's spirit of connectedness by reciting an old Chinese poetry classic.

Additionally, the Mid-Autumn Festival has long been one of Vietnam's most cherished festivals. The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated throughout Vietnam with vibrant lanterns and bustling streets. Families get together, light lanterns, and eat mooncakes during the festival.
