The Trump administration is currently negotiating with pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to provide their weight loss drugs at lower prices through the TrumpRx program.

A spokesperson from Eli Lilly announced that the company is in talks with the administration to enhance patient access, maintain innovation, and promote affordable medications.

Novo Nordisk is also in constructive discussions with the administration regarding the Most Favored Nation executive order, as stated by the company.

Under the forthcoming agreements, some Medicare beneficiaries will be covered by Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, with the medications expected to cost around $149 for a month's supply.
