A Magical Evening of Music and Togetherness Leaves a Lasting Impression, Embracing the Festive Season's Joy and Well-being

(Dec. 23, Pasadena) In the spirit of Christmas, the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy hosted a heartwarming concert on December 16th, marking an evening of festive cheer and community bonding. The Academy, known for its commitment to holistic well-being, orchestrated an enchanting event that touched the hearts of all attendees.

The evening commenced with a delightful potluck feast, setting the stage for the event and fostering an atmosphere of warmth and unity, followed by the eagerly awaited concert.

Dr. Susan Wang-Selfridge, a highly accomplished pianist, opened the concert with soul-stirring renditions of "Jingle Bells" and "Silent Night." Her performances set a beautiful tone for the evening, capturing the essence of the festive season.

After a video presentation of the grand opening of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Pasadena earlier this year, a one-minute silence ensued, allowing everyone to spread good thoughts and prayers for a bright and prosperous future for all.

The spotlight then shifted to talented young musicians from Tai Ji Men, showcasing their exceptional abilities. Among them, Cameron, an elementary school student, delighted the audience with "The Sonatina Session" on the piano, followed by his brother Quinton, who presented a beautiful piece: "Our Detective Agency." Their mother, Sandy, radiated with vitality as she shared her experience of finding balance and overcoming challenges through Tai Ji Men qigong, juggling work and motherhood with grace.

The enchantment continued as Myra, a teen, and her younger sister, Lyra, delivered captivating performances on the piano, showcasing their musical talents. Their mother, Cici, attested to the positive impact of Tai Ji Men qigong on their family, instilling a resilient mindset despite life's challenges.

Nicholas, a middle school student, displayed his musical prowess with a wonderful rendition on the cello, followed by a remarkable performance on the piano. His elder brother, Nathan, also wowed the audience with his talent. Their mother, Sarah, a pharmacist studying Chinese medicine, praised Tai Ji Men qigong for providing her with calmness and resilience amid a demanding schedule.

The festive atmosphere reached its peak during the sing-along session led by William "Mickey" Stevenson, former songwriter and record producer for the Motown group of labels, and his wife Michelle. The couple, recent members of Tai Ji Men, shared their improvements after practicing Tai Ji Men qigong and led the attendees to sing, radiating joy and vitality. Classic Christmas tunes filled the air, with everyone joining in to sing "Jingle Bell Rock," "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire," and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
