(Nov. 23, Pasadena) Deviating from the traditional Thanksgiving festivities, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy is set to host a Tree Decorating event on November 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday) as part of their ongoing weekly open house series. A warm invitation is extended to local residents and those in the neighboring district to join and revel in this delightful occasion.
Every Saturday and Sunday, from 2 to 4 pm, Tai Ji Men's weekly open house sessions aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and camaraderie among neighbors and friends. This initiative aligns with the academy's commitment to fostering a community spirit rooted in conscience, love, and peace.
On November 18, in a heartwarming gesture despite the drizzling weather, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy welcomed friends and neighbors to participate in crafting the Five-Treasure Gnomes. These gnomes, representing health, wealth, wisdom, joy, and happiness, offered a meaningful event that radiated with sunshine and laughter.
Each participant selected a gnome representing health, wealth, joy, or happiness, immersing themselves in a delightful crafting session. Personalizing their gnomes, they fashioned these figures into special tokens of gratitude. Among the creations, a wisdom gnome was lovingly crafted as a gift for the aunt of one of the guests. Tai Ji Men is an international, non-profit cultural organization dedicated to preserving Tai Ji Men culture and promoting the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of people worldwide.
