Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy Welcomes All to Its Thanksgiving Hot Pot Gathering on Nov. 19

(Nov. 14, Pasadena) In the wake of last week's American Veterans celebration, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy looks ahead, organizing a Thanksgiving hot pot gathering on November 19 (Sunday). An open invitation is extended to the entire community, including veterans, in alignment with the academy's ongoing commitment to nurturing love, peace, and community spirit.

Every Saturday and Sunday, from 2 to 4 pm, the academy's weekly open house sessions provide a welcoming space for neighbors and friends to cultivate a sense of belonging and community spirit, which are more essential now than ever.

On Veterans Day, November 11, members of the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy gathered at the ceremony held by Pasadena City Hall. Among them, Huīxióng, a retired army colonel from Taiwan, expressed appreciation for the contributions of U.S. veterans to society. He seized the opportunity to pay his respects, particularly moved by the rich stories of Pasadena residents who have served in the Armed Forces with honor and distinction.

Having practiced Tai Ji Men Qigong for over thirty years, Huīxióng has witnessed Tai Ji Men Shifu (grand master) and dizi (apprentices) traveling to more than 103 countries to promote conscience, love, and peace, inspiring leaders to resolve conflicts peacefully with wisdom. He shared that his grandmaster at Tai Ji Men, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, has always reminded him that one should love not only one’s own country but also others’ countries. Huīxióng staunchly believes that veterans can continue to serve a global community after their military service, alongside their families. This, he asserts, has the power to influence not only their own country but also others, fostering peace and preventing conflict.
