Six of the attendees from the previous day's celebration in Alhambra joined the gathering. Other participants included William “Mickey” Stevenson, a former songwriter and record producer for Motown labels, accompanied by his wife Michelle, both practitioners of qigong at Tai Ji Men. Their friend Jacqueline was also among the joyful assembly.

The evening unfolded with a delightful dinner and reached a crescendo with a mesmerizing performance by Mickey, Michelle, and Jacqueline. Harmonizing seamlessly with Jacqueline's masterful musical talents on violin and keyboard, the trio presented a medley of cherished Christmas melodies, including beloved classics like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Go Tell It on the Mountain," "Silent Night," and "For Your Glory." Their heartfelt renditions ignited a wave of joy, prompting a collective rhythm of applause that resonated through the festive air, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

Sharing their transformative journey through Tai Ji Men qigong, Mickey and Michelle revealed the profound impact of this practice on their lives. Michelle conveyed Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze's message, emphasizing the broader dimensions of love within relationships—seeing her husband not just as a spouse but also as a brother and friend. She attributed improved sleep, overall well-being, and heightened energy levels to the regular practice of Tai Ji Men qigong.

Mickey's initial perception of qigong as routine underwent a remarkable shift, as the healing energy derived from qigong not only bolstered his physical health but also forged a deeper spiritual connection, offering solace during life's challenges. Mickey, at the age of 86, jovially expressed feeling as vibrant as a 35-year-old and passionately promoted Tai Ji Men qigong, highlighting its ability to empower and improve health through the infusion of positive energy and transformative benefits.

The evening culminated in a touching moment as attendees, moved by the heartfelt sharing, united in a minute of solemn silence, adorning the Christmas tree with their heartfelt wishes. Encircling the illuminated tree, they formed a symbolic bond, collectively praying for global harmony. The tree burst to life upon being lit, elevating the already jubilant ambiance, marking a cherished and uplifting conclusion to the event.
