Over tea, these artists shared their insightful journeys of integrating Tai Ji Men qigong principles and the philosophy of yin and yang into their respective design practices and artistic endeavors.

Tony Chen is a versatile artist, serving as a sculptor, painter, photographer, ceramic artist, and a dedicated museum director nurturing emerging painters. His deep appreciation for local culture and heritage led him to establish an art museum, fostering the growth of aspiring artists.

Despite facing initial challenges in his artistic journey, including earning a score of 60% on a high school art project, Tony's determination was fueled by encouraging remarks from another teacher. Subsequently, he delved into the realm of painting, a decision that shaped his illustrious career.

Tony spent a decade working as a designer for a ceramic factory, a period during which he sacrificed his health for financial gain. However, a transformative experience occurred when he embraced Tai Ji Men qigong, leading to the restoration of his health and a strengthened immune system. Reflecting on his journey, Tony underscores the vital role of consistent Tai Ji Men qigong practice in enhancing both his health and career trajectory.

Tony effortlessly adjusted to the new environment in California after arriving from Taiwan, attributing his smooth transition to practicing Tai Ji Men qigong. Having traveled to 59 countries alongside the leader of Tai Ji Men, who has led Tai Ji Men members to visit 103 countries to promote love and peace, Tony attests to a transformed perspective. He now possesses a heightened ability to perceive the essence and emotions infused into artworks, emphasizing that success in the artistic realm requires wholehearted dedication and a genuine connection to one's craft.

Chen Chuan Tang, an internationally acclaimed interior designer since 2016, shared the transformative impact of practicing Tai Ji Men qigong. Before embracing qigong, Tang struggled with insufficient sleep, averaging only 3 to 4 hours per night, resulting in a negative impact on his immune system. Through qigong, he not only achieved improved physical health but also acquired Tai Ji Men's "Five Treasures": health, wealth, wisdom, joy, and happiness.

The treasure of health extends beyond mere physical wellness, encompassing mental and spiritual well-being. Tang emphasized the true treasure of wealth, stressing the significance of finding fulfillment by sincerely sharing love and kindness. He holds the belief that by giving from the heart, one gains abundantly, evident in the givers’ and recipients’ smiles.

The treasure of wisdom, according to Tang, has been the most rewarding. Learning to love his inner self increased his energy and tolerance, enabling him to face challenges with a positive mindset. By letting go of negativity, he found increased success. Tang experienced improvements in his family, career, and interpersonal relationships, earning the treasure of happiness.

Ultimately, Tang emphasized that a willingness to give from the heart leads to the treasure of joy. Applying the five treasures to his design work, he has been receiving awards since 2016. His design philosophy aligns with the teachings of Tai Ji Men’s leader, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, who emphasizes that practicing love and kindness from the heart contributes to the improvement of the planet. Tang firmly believes that Tai Ji Men imparts a comprehensive understanding of life's values.

The participants expressed their significant takeaways from the artists' sharing while relishing enjoyable moments, laughter, and appreciating how Tai Ji Men qigong enables them to balance their work and family life.
