Fur-ever Friend

 

Pet companionship is an indispensable part of many people's lives, bringing a different kind of fun and warmth to their lives. "Fur-ever Friend" is an online program produced by an independent international news media “Global People Daily News"(GPDN) which invites good friends from all over the world to share heartwarming stories about their interactions with furry friends and how they became the one for each other, being brave for love. 

 

Robin Liang, a firefighter from Taiwan having one dog and four cats, shared the story while meeting with MiMi, a cat, during her shift. Mimi was so clever and mischievous that Robin’s life was full of sweetness and joy even just watching Mimi playing day and accompanying her through the long physical recovery.

 

In 2016, a Taiwanese couple Han-Hsi Ho and her husband decided to start a family in Hong Kong, they spent two years learning how to be a real family with their dog, Peter. While Han-Hsi Ho decided to return to Taiwan, Peter was required by border regulations for at least 6 months to test for rabies antibodies from his blood, which cause a 6-month delay in their return. Also, owning to the pandemic raging, airplanes for traveling with Pets is rare, but Han-His has overcome the difficulties to stay lovely with Peter.

 

Ivan Ricardi, a Mexican composer, composed the song "I ONLY KNOW TO BARK" for the show, acting as a fur baby to deliver their love to his owner.

 

Eddie Peinado, a Brazilian-born captain from the United States, has been involved with animals since he was a child, with a passion for saving dogs and cats. One of his most touching stories is about rescuing 17 cats from Fiji and finding them long-term homes in California.

 

He stated that the most important aspect of caring for stray cats is to assist them in having their children sterilized and that population control is important because fewer cats on the street will cause less suffering.

 

Katerina A. Cechova, a Danish artist, uses her craft to raise awareness and protect some of the world's most endangered animals. "We protect Mona Lisa with several layers of safety glass, but we do not protect nature, which is the largest work of art ever created," she says. Katerinaintroducedabout the inspiration for her famous painting "Half-Faced Koala" and the subsequent large-scale art project to save endangered animals, which was very impressive.

 

We, humans, require the companionship of animals "for both body and mental," and animals, in turn, require our respect and care as we are such a beautiful planet.
